Our Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made by you, the customer, from us.

1. Introduction

a.   Farm491 is the Royal Agricultural University’s AgriTech and Food Tech incubator. We provide business support to entrepreneurs across the world who are innovating in food and agriculture.

b.   “Student” defines as someone who buys a course.

c.   “Courses” refers to all course options for the students.

d.   Course option 1 allows the student to purchase all 4 modules. Course option 2 allows the student to purchase all 4 modules including additional bespoke webinars.


2.  Application of T&C’s

a.   The student accepts these T&Cs once submitting payment for a course.


3. Candidates Commitment

a.   In relation to the courses, the student agrees that they will:

b.   Attend and participate in all agreed activities (i.e. webinars)

c. Complete the relevant course material prior to attending the webinars (if course option 2 is purchased)

d.   Respect and show consideration for all other students participating in the courses and all staff delivering the courses.

e.   Complete feedback to improve courses.

f.   Accept that testimonials may be requested and published.

g.   Respect the timings of the webinars by entering the Zoom at or prior to the scheduled start time.


4. Delivery of services

a.   Webinar sessions are conducted via Zoom which includes a feature that allows audio and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. In occasions the webinar sessions are recorded. By joining a session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, please contact us to discuss your concerns in good time prior to the web-event date.

b.   To ensure that the webinars give each student the best level of support, course option 2 numbers are limited. Alternative course dates will show when full.

c.   Webinar dates are subject to change however you will be given notice of this.

d.   Course option 1 has unlimited amount of students.

e.   Farm491 reserves the right to change the content, timing, date, venue or instructor of the course in order to provide a high quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.


5. Fees, Refunds and Right of Cancellations

a.   The fee for the selected course must be paid in full at the time of booking. This will release access to the courses. The fee for the courses are non-refundable.

b.   In the case of illness please submit a request for a re-booking.

c.   (Course option 1) Cancellations are non-refundable.

d.   (Course option 2) You shall be entitled to cancel your booking subject to Farm491 receiving your request for cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the webinar start date. You shall be entitled to rebook an alternative date but no refund or compensation shall be payable.

e.   Farm491 shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. If Farm491 decides to cancel your booking it will notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to rebook an alternative date but no refund or compensation is payable.


6. Liability of Farm491

a.   Farm491 will have no liability to the student for any loss or damage of any nature arising from any breach of any express or implied warranty or condition of this agreement or any negligence, breach of statutory duty on the part of the University or in any other way out of or in connection with the performance or purported performance of or failure to perform to the agreement.

b.   The delivered course materials and webinars must not be seen as business advice and are coaching and mentoring only. Farm491 accepts no liability for any business actions or failings during or following the completion of the courses.


7. Intellectual Property

a.   Unless otherwise indicated, individual course deliverers and the RAU own copyright for the content presented in the courses. Course presentations and recordings are to be viewed by the registrant only; the content must under no circumstances be recorded or reproduced.

b.   The content must not be modified or republished in any way without the prior consent of the presenter. If you seek to reproduce or otherwise use the content in any way it is your responsibility to obtain approval for such use where necessary. Any breach of copyright, including recording the presentation or any unauthorised use of the material may lead to legal action.


8. Unforeseen circumstances

a.   Farm491 reserves the right to defer the date of delivery of the Courses if it is prevented from or delayed in carrying out any of its business due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Farm491 including, without limitation, acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, acts of terrorism, protests, riots, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-out, strikes or any other labour disputes, or restraints or delays effecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials.


9. Personal Information
